"Pop Life"

Chapter 63

"Justin…where are we?"

"My yacht…oh sorry, our yacht," he says as he helps Britney up on the yacht.

"When did you do this?"

He leads her around to the front.

"It's been something I've been thinking about. When we come here we always rent one anyway."

She looks around and then smiles at him.

"I love it," she says as she throws her arms around him. "Give me a tour."

He pulls away and grabs her hand as he walks her around. He opens up a door that leads down a couple of stairs into the living quarters.

"All the amenities of home," he says with a swipe of his arm. He walks over to the kitchenette area. "We've got food, drinks…things to eat on and drink out of," he says opening cabinets.

Britney giggles into her hand.

"Here's the kitchen table, of course."

He walks over to another door and opens it. "A bathroom…small but it has a toilet, a sink and a shower."

She pokes her head around his shoulder and looks in. "Big enough for two?"

He smiles at her. "Probably not. We'd probably get stuck and I'd be really embarrassed to call someone for help."

She laughs.

"Over here we have the couch and TV," he picks up the remote and starts flipping channels. Something catches his attention so Britney takes the remote from him and turns the TV off.

"There's one thing missing," she says looking around.

"What's that?"

"Where do we sleep?"

His face brightens. "Oh." He opens up another door that's next to the bathroom and lets her walk in first.

"This is so cute."

"It's small but it has the bed and a couple of closets. Nice, firm mattress," he says testing out the strength of it with his fingers.

She sits down on it and bounces a little bit.

"Nice," she nods approvingly.

"I'm glad you like. Let's get this show on the road," he says clapping his hands together.

He goes back into the main cabin and then disappears. Britney walks over to one of the closets and opens it.

She gasps. "Ohhhh, he's so sweet," she says pulling out a couple of her outfits. She laughs when she sees one of her negligees hanging up. One of his favorites.

She heard the engine starting so she closed the closet door and headed outside.

"Justin?" she called from the doorway.

She started to panic when she felt the boat move away from the dock. There was an attendant on the dock who was waving to someone above her. She found the ladder leading up to the compartment where the controls were. She put her hands on her hips and almost laughed when she saw Justin behind the wheel.

He caught a glimpse of her out of the corner of his eye.

"Hey," he says, waving her over.

She carefully makes her way over to him.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm driving the boat…what does it look like I'm doing?" he asks as he cranes his neck around to make sure he doesn't hit the dock on his way out into the Ocean.

"Justin, is this safe?"

He covers his heart with one of his hands. "Oh, I'm hurt."

"No, I mean it. Do you know what you're doing?"

He quickly leans down and kisses her. "Yes."

"You do?"

"Jeez baby you're not good for my ego here. I've been reading up on things and have had a couple of crash courses."

"Don't say crash," she says as she wraps her arm around his and leans her temple against his shoulder.

He laughs.

"So, we just going out for a joy ride? I can't enjoy it if you're up here and I'm stuck down there."

"I had a destination in mind and then we'll anchor."

"Do you need me to do anything?"

He shakes his head. "Not right now. I might have you warm up dinner before we anchor."

"I think I can do that."

"Why don't you go get your swim suit on and lay out for a little bit."

"Can I lay out up there?" she asks pointing to the front of the yacht.

He nods. "Yeah, it's flat enough and there's room. I made sure…just be careful when you walk around the side, it's a skinny walkway."

She shrugs. "Okay. See you in a bit."

She kisses him and runs back down into the cabin. She opens up one of the drawers in the bedroom and finds a couple of bikinis. She knows him well…she knew he'd have supplied a bikini there for her. She holds one of them up and laughs.

"Oh my. Thank God mama isn't here to see this."

She quickly changes into it and grabs a towel and some sunblock. She climbs the stairs back up to Justin.

"Here, you need some of this," she says as she pours the sunblock into her hand. He had removed his shirt while she was changing.

"Oh, that's cold," he says as she starts rubbing it onto his shoulders and back.

"Look at me," she says so she can apply some to his face.

He finally gets a glimpse of the new bikini.

"I have good taste."

"I can never let my mama or daddy see this," she laughs.

"Nope, this is for my eyes only."

"There…now hopefully you won't burn."

"Thanks," he says as he leans down and gives her a quick kiss.

"You're welcome."

She goes back down and carefully makes her way to the front. She throws the towel down, sits down on it and starts to apply the suntan lotion.

Justin kept his eye out on the water but couldn't help looking at his beautiful girlfriend. Just watching her apply the lotion was getting to him. He tried concentrating on driving but then she lay down on her stomach and removed her top. He groaned.

"Did you say something?" she yelled up to him.

"No."

"Okay."

She laid out there for another hour or so before she tied her top back up and joined him again.

"You doing okay?" she asks, rubbing his back.

"Yep. I'm a little thirsty. Would you get me more water?" he asks wiggling an empty bottle in front of her.

"Sure. You getting hungry?"

He looks at his watch. It was nearly six. "Why don't you go down and start heating up the food. You'll see it in the refrigerator."

"Okay." She leans up and quickly kisses him.

She found the food with no problem at all and put the plates in the microwave. She threw a pair of shorts and a top on. The engine turned off but she looked out the window and noticed they were still moving. She found some candles and placed them around the room.

Within about fifteen minutes, Justin came down.

"Mmmm, smells good. The Yacht Club hooked us up."

He picked up a towel and started to wipe off. She turned around and stared at him.

"What?" he asks looking down.

"Nothing. You're just hot, that's all."

"Why? Did I get sunburned?"

She laughs. "I don't think so." She walks over to him then. "You don't need sun to get hot baby."

He suddenly pulls her to him and she screams as she laughs. His mouth covers hers. She immediately links her arms behind his neck and pulls him closer.

"Mmmmm, I love you," she says.

"Good…that works out well," he says before kissing her again.

The microwave beeps. She pulls back. "As much as I want you right now, I'm too hungry to think about that."

She turns around and gets the food out. He laughs. "Gee, thanks. Hold up. I have to get something."

He runs into the bedroom and comes back out. He grabs two glasses and a bottle of wine.

"I'll be right back."

She's arranging the food on the plate. "Okay."

He goes back outside and in a couple of minutes comes back down.

"Got everything?" he asks taking one last glance at the counter.

She picks up the plates and he picks up napkins and utensils.

"I think so."

"Follow me," he says.

She follows him up the steps and around to the front of the yacht. He's got a blanket laid out and the bottle of wine and two glasses are sitting on top.

"Awwww, this will be nice."

She looks around as she sits down.

"Justin, the view is amazing."

There's nothing but beautiful blue Ocean surrounding them.

"I made it just for you," he says leaning over and giving her a quick kiss.

She giggles against his mouth. They both start to eat and enjoy each other's company.

"So…what's the occasion?" she asks as she takes a sip of wine.

"For what?"

"For all of this?" she asks with a sweep of her hand.

"Why does there have to be an occasion?"

She eyes him, trying to figure out what he's up to.

"With you…there doesn't. It just seems sudden to me that you bought this yacht."

"I've been thinking about it for awhile," he shrugs.

She could tell she wasn't going to get anything out of him. She shivered a little bit. The sun was setting and it was getting a little chilly on this late October evening. He noticed she was finished eating so he moved their plates to the side and pulled her over so that she was sitting in between his legs and he wrapped his arms around her.

"Better?"

"Mmhmm."

She leaned back and enjoyed his warmth. He picked up his glass and took a sip. His throat was getting dry.

They watched as the sun slowly set.

"This is the most beautiful thing…" she says softly.

"Yes…it is."

Somehow she didn't think he was talking about the sunset. She could hear his breathing pick up and felt him shake a little.

"Justin, what is it?" she asks turning to him.

He stares at her and brushes the hair from her face that the wind has blown.

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small box. Tears come to her eyes as he takes both of her hands in his. They're now sitting facing each other.

"Justin…"

"No, let me try to get this out before I make a fool of myself."

She smiles as his voice cracks a little.

"I feel like I've loved you all of my life. Even when we weren't together you have been in my soul. That's why you're my soul mate. I've believed that for a long time now." He takes a deep breath and exhales. "I can't imagine what my future would be like without you. Whenever I picture it, you're a part of it. A lot of things are happening for both of us and I don't want either of us to miss a minute of it."

He opens the box to reveal a platinum diamond ring. A tear falls down Britney's face.

"I was going to wait to do this when you turned twenty-one but things are going to get hectic for me in a few weeks. Britney…Jean…Spears…will you marry me?"

She looks from the ring back up to his eyes. Those beautiful blue eyes that always make her happy. She wipes a tear away and smiles.

"Yes. I will marry you…Justin…Randall…Timberlake. I love you."

He leans in and kisses her. It was a gentle sweet kiss that left both of them breathless. He takes the ring out of the box and slides it onto her ring finger. She looks at it.

"It's beautiful."

He holds her hand as they both study it.

"There's six diamonds on either side of the large diamond to signify the age I was when I first fell in love with you."

"Oh Justin. You're so amazing."

They kissed again.

"I can't believe this is happening. A few months ago I wondered if we would ever…" she starts.

"Shhh, let's not think about that. We need to concentrate on the future. Our future."

She smiles and nods.

"You're right."

The Miami breeze gently blows through Britney's hair as Justin leans down and kisses her again. He takes his time kissing her. When he moves down to her neck she says, "Let's take this inside."

"You're right."

They stand up and gather the plates, glasses and blanket and head back down to the cabin.

Britney lights the candles as Justin disposes of the other items.

"So, how long can we stay here?" she asks. She feels him come up behind her and then he wraps his arms around her.

"All night."

"Really?" she asks turning around in his arms.

He smiles and nods.

"We're about fifteen minutes from a small island where we can bank at if we need to, but the weather reports say it's going to be a clear night."

"How romantic," she says before she leans up on her toes and kisses him.

She traces his lips with her tongue. He pulls her up so that her feet are off of the ground so she wraps her legs around his waist. He walks until he backs her up against a wall. When he does this she reaches down and finds the button of his shorts. So much for romancing her and taking his time, he thought. He realizes the light switch is right next to them so he flips it off and the room is aglow from the candlelight.

There, that's as romantic as it's going to get right now.

He unzips his shorts and lets them fall down to his feet. As he steps out of them he undoes Britney's shorts. Somehow they manage to get them and her bikini bottoms off of her without setting her down on the floor. Justin's boxers are next and when he steps out of them, Britney lowers herself on him, making him moan.

She has very strong arms so she's able to raise and lower herself without much help from him. After he recovers from the initial shock of what she just did he begins to help her by grabbing her waist. This whole time their mouths have never left each other.

When Britney feels close to her peak she wraps her fingers around the shoulders of his wifebeater and pulls on it as she moves faster.

"I love you, Justin," she says before she climaxes.

Justin reaches his climax right after she does. He holds her up against the wall as they try to catch their breath.

"I love you, too," he says in between breaths.

Still inside her, he carries her back to the bedroom and they fall on to the bed together.

"Mmmm, I think I'm going to like being married to you," she giggles.

"Must be some dream," Justin says as he kisses Britney's shoulder.

She moans and turns toward her husband who's lying on the bed beside her. His arm lazily drapes over her waist.

"It was better than a dream. I was thinking about when you proposed to me."

"Ahhh."

"I was remembering everything," she says raising her eyebrows.

"Everything?"

"Uh huh."

She reaches behind his head and pulls his mouth to hers.

"I was just at the part about the wall," she says against his mouth.

"Heh heh heh."

"I've only been sailing a couple of times. I don't have to do anything, do I?" I ask as Brad leads me down the dock to the sailboat he rented for the day.

"No, we have a captain who will do all the work. We're just here to enjoy it."

"Oh good. God, it's a beautiful day."

He smiles and takes my hand as he leads me down the walkway to the boat.
